Craig's 50 to 50

I have always loved the broadway play Les Miserable.  The will power of Jean Val Jean to overcome obstacles and refine his character comes alive.  In reading the book the role the Savior plays in Jean Val Jean's redemption becomes more paramount.   The count of Monte Cristo is another example of the unconquerable drive of the human soul.  It also is a vivid portrayal of the importance of using your trials to build yourself and not to extract revenge on your enemies.

My Grandfather Frank Reeder met John Wayne at the Golden Spike 100 year centennial.  Ever since I have been fascinated by him.   In particular I have revered him because of the fact that he loves America, is willing to stand up for what he believes, and is not scared of anything.  Both my father Frank and grandfather Frank share many of the same attributes as John Wayne.   Liberty Valance The Searchers Rio Bravo Red River El Dorado Sons of Katie Elder McKlintock Sands of Iwo Jima Big Jake Rio Lobo Brannigan Operation Pacific Old California The Spoilers Stage Coach The Quietman True Grit The Shootist The Longest Day She wore a Yellow Ribbon Fort Apache Rio Grande The Cowboys The Alamo 3 Godfathers Rooster Cogburn Hatari Chisum The Comandero Hondo The Train Robber The Horse Soilder North to Alaska The War Wagon In Harm's Way Donovan's Reef The Green Berets The Undefeated Cahill vs Marshall Flying Tigers Leg...
