I have always loved the broadway play Les Miserable.  The will power of Jean Val Jean to overcome obstacles and refine his character comes alive.  In reading the book the role the Savior plays in Jean Val Jean's redemption becomes more paramount.   The count of Monte Cristo is another example of the unconquerable drive of the human soul.  It also is a vivid portrayal of the importance of using your trials to build yourself and not to extract revenge on your enemies.

During this goal I realized how much spare time I have.  I listened to the talks of all 15 of the living apostles while I was getting ready in the morning.  This took me three years to do.  Through the process I became more acquainted with  these extraordinary men.  I gained a stronger testimony of the mission, ministry and message of the Savior.  My realization increased that perfection is not an event, but a process.
